Special attention shall be paid to safety and operating specifications when starting the sesame cleaning machine to guarantee normal equipment operation and extend its service life.
1. Pre-start Preparation
Check the air damper: Make sure the air damper is fully closed to prevent equipment malfunction caused by airflow impact upon startup.
Inspect feed/discharge ports and sieve surface: Clear any blockages from inlet and outlet openings; verify the sieve is firmly mounted and free of damage.
Confirm stable equipment placement: Level all six support bases and fasten their nuts to avoid frame deformation from operational vibration.
Check fan rotation direction: The main fan must spin in the direction marked by the arrow; wrong rotation will compromise air separation performance or damage the unit.
Examine power supply and earthing: Ensure intact power cables and rated voltage (normally 380V); reliable equipment earthing is required to avoid electric shock hazards.
2. Startup Sequence
Start the fan first; switch on the vibrating sieve or destoner main body only after the fan runs smoothly.
Gradually open the air damper once raw material covers the sieve surface to create a mild boiling state of materials on the sieve; adjust reverse airflow for clear separation between sesame grains and stones.
Initiate uniform feeding to avoid sudden overload.
3. In-operation Precautions
Never reach hands into moving components to prevent mechanical injury.
Shut down the machine immediately for inspection in case of abnormal noise, overheated motor or excessive vibration.
Routinely check through viewing windows to ensure proper material stratification and smooth stone discharge.
Keep all safety guards installed; unauthorized removal is prohibited.
