Precautions for Using Grain Grading Machine

Precautions for using grain grading machine fall into four core segments: preoperation preparation, operation control, shutdown and maintenance, and safety compliance. Key points are specified as follows:
1. Preoperation Preparation
Equipment Inspection: Remove transportation safety clamping plates, fasten loose components, verify intact safety guards, and manually turn the pulley to ensure no jamming or abnormal noise. Parameter Adaptation: Select corresponding sieve apertures according to grain particle size. For rice separation, for example, adopt 8 holes per 25.4 mm for the first layer and 910 holes per 25.4 mm for the second layer. Calibrate sievebody levelness and sievesurface tension in advance. Personnel Requirements: Operators of grain classifiers shall receive specialpurpose training. Personnel under the age of 18, fatigued or intoxicated persons are prohibited from operating the equipment. Operators shall wear closefitting work clothes; loose garments and sandals are forbidden onsite.
2. Inoperation Control
Startup Sequence: Strictly follow the principle of noload startup first, and feeding only after stable equipment operation. Direct startup under load is prohibited. Workingcondition Adjustment: Maintain steady feeding with a normal flow rate of 60 kg/(cm·h). Adjust sievesurface inclination to raise output while guaranteeing classification accuracy. Regulate airsuction dampers simultaneously to reduce material temperature and humidity and prevent dust mildew. Dynamic Monitoring: Constantly check classification quality at discharge outlets. If whole rice mixes with broken rice or broken rice contains whole kernels, shut down immediately to inspect for damaged or clogged screens. Cut off power for troubleshooting upon abnormal vibration or noise.
3. Shutdown and Routine Maintenance
Standard Shutdown: After feeding ceases, keep the machine running for 23 minutes to discharge residual internal materials before switching off the motor and airsuction system. Periodic Maintenance: Lubricate speedadjusting sliding pulleys every week; replace grease for transmission bearings every six months; fill the reduction gearbox with 20#30# gear oil every quarter. Clear grain deposits on classification rotors and screens timely to avoid blockage and degraded classification performance. Fault Handling: For poor classification accuracy, prioritize calibrating rotor rotating speed and replacing damaged screens. For excessive equipment vibration, check base levelness and tighten loose bolts.
4. Safety Compliance
Never insert hands or tools into the equipment while it is running. Unauthorized modification of equipment or adjustment of safety valve parameters is forbidden. Do not overload the grain grading machine. Keep children away during operation and maintenance. Nonoperators are not allowed to touch power switches.
