Smallsized grain selection equipment is suitable for smallscale grain purchasing stations and can process a variety of crops, including corn, wheat, rice, sorghum, rapeseed, sesame, soybeans, peanuts and other beans. Installation of small grain cleaning equipment must be carried out strictly in accordance with assembly drawings and foundation drawings. Prior to installation, inspect all parts and accessories, and complete cleaning and prepreparation work.
Installation Procedures for Grain Selection Equipment
1.Mark reference lines: draw cross lines and elevation lines on the foundation reference plates, and set intermediate reference plates for convenient and accurate operation. Ensure these reference markers will not be covered after installation of the foundation.
2.Install the base and towing wheels. Level the positions for shim plates and mark the centre lines of the base and towing wheels. Locate and align the base and towing wheels as specified in the drawings. Pour concrete into foundation anchor holes. Once the concrete reaches sufficient strength, tighten the anchor bolts. Proceed to install the cylinder only after passing inspection.
3.Install the cylinder and riding rings. Fit the riding rings onto the cylinder first. Secure the required concave joints in a staggered arrangement. Adjust shim thickness to maintain proper contact between riding rings and concave joints; the corresponding clearances shall not be uniform. Spotweld the heads of concave joint bolts to the cylinder barrel.
4.Install the large gear. Before installation, check the joint surfaces of the base platform for impact marks, and wipe clean the mating surfaces between the large gear and gear housing. Align the two halfgears precisely and fasten the joint bolts, then mount the large gear onto the cylinder barrel. Rotate the gear housing and inspect the radial runout and lateral wobble of the large gear until calibration meets acceptance criteria.
5.Install the pinion gear, reducer and motor. Adjust the meshing parameters of the large and pinion gears against the alreadyfitted large gear to satisfy equipment specifications. Secure the positions of the pinion gear and geared motor.
6.Fit the gear cover, ensuring uniform clearance between the cover and gear rim.
7.After installation, commission the rotation direction of the grain selection equipment. Connect the power supply, then jog the motor switch sequentially to verify the motor rotation direction of the cleaning machine. Each jog operation shall not exceed 3 seconds. Normal equipment operation is permitted only after correct rotation direction is confirmed.
