What are the advantages of using a grain de-stoner?

When a grain destoner is in operation, materials continuously enter the middle part of the destoning sieve surface from the feeding hopper. Under the combined effect of sieve surface vibration and airflow passing through the material layer, the porosity between particles increases, keeping the materials in a fluidized state and facilitating automatic classification.
Stones with a higher specific gravity sink to the bottom layer and come into contact with the sieve surface, while grain with a lower specific gravity floats to the upper layer. Driven by gravity, inertial force and continuous feeding, the grain slides down to the clean grain outlet.
In contrast, heavy stones slide upward on the destoning sieve surface under the action of the inertial force of the sieve vibration system and airflow, moving through the stone gathering area to the fine separation area.
The grain destoner features excellent stone removal effect, simple structure, small footprint and low energy consumption. After one-time cleaning by the grain destoner, the stone removal rate is over 95%, and the removal rate of bricks, tiles and mud lumps exceeds 60%. In addition, grain loss is minimal, with no more than 100 full grain kernels per kilogram in the removed sand and stones.

The structure of the suction-type grain destoner is basically the same as that of the blow-type model. The main difference is that it is not equipped with a built-in fan. An airtight suction hood and air suction pipe are installed on the destoning sieve surface, which connect to the fan of the processing plant’s air network. No dust escapes during operation, making it widely applied in actual production.
